Secrets of the Boab Flower

The Boab Tree is a Kimberley icon, yet its flowers are a little-known secret. Boab Flowers blossom during the peak heat of the wet season and only last a day or two before falling. The flowers bloom early in the evening and are pollinated that night by the Convolvulus Hawk Moth.
