Octopuses are masters of disguise and can change the colour, pattern and texture of their skin within 30 milliseconds. They are highly intelligent creatures with excellent memory and adaptability. Uniquely, two thirds of their brain neurons are in their arms, and they have 3 hearts. Octopuses live for 1-3 years and spend much of their life alone, breeding only before their death.
